ROB ROY ROVERS
Amateur football club in London with taste of Scotland
COME AND JOIN US
Moving to London can be a bit daunting, especially when swapping the comforts of the tranquil Scottish countryside, square sausage and a cold pint of Tennents for the bright lights of the big smoke and the constant search for a pint for under a fiver.
At Rob Roy Rovers FC, we welcome, well anyone! However, most of us have moved down from north of the border and continued doing what only we know best on a Saturday afternoon - Football.
Our squad is built from players who played university football in Scotland, bringing together a group of like-minded people all with cherished memories of Wednesday BUCS away trips and battle scars from the local Saturday leagues.

ABOUT US
Originally an Aberdeen FC Supporters club, Roy Roy Rovers FC was born as the allegiances of squad members began to diversify away from the granite city club. Celtic, Hearts, Hibs, Raith Rovers, Ayr United, even a Bradford fan! Who cares who you support, but the our core value of bringing together Scottish university alumni in London stands strong.
Having been promoted three times in the last five seasons, we now play in the second tier of amateur football in London, part of the AFA Combination League, one of the most established league set ups in Europe.
The league boasts a well-organised, competitive standard, with games played in a well-natured spirit. Most of our players are of 1st XI university standard, some with Semi-Pro or Junior football experience.
We play on Saturday afternoons, kick-offs between 12 and 2 across South London, with our home games played on a 4G surface in Mottingham, 20 minutes east from London Bridge.
Naturally, the club boasts a colourful social scene...
Sounds like the place for you? We'd love to have you onboard.
